Behind the cards
Lulu Damselfly was created by Canadian photographer and artist Julie Durocher.
After more than 25 years behind the camera, Julie continues to find inspiration in the everyday: flowers, landscapes, celebrations, quiet moments, a touch of humour — and all the wonderfully imperfect things that make life interesting.
Each card begins with an image and the simple idea that art doesn’t have to stay on a wall. Sometimes, it can travel in the mail.

Why Lulu?
Lulu was Julie’s beloved grandmother — and her very first model. She was the one who sparked Julie’s love of portrait photography, always happily playing along with her creative ideas and photographic adventures. Naming the brand Lulu is Julie’s way of paying tribute to the woman who helped inspire her journey as a photographer.
